The Running Board Install Assist Tool is used to pick the
running board off a sub-assembly build-up table and move it to a vehicle on the
assembly line. It holds the running board in the proper location while it is
secured to the frame of the vehicle.
A Roof Rack Pick and Place Tool assists the operator in picking
the roof rack out of the shipping dunnage and lowering it onto the roof of the
vehicle. It holds everything in place until it is lowered to the vehicle for
fastening to the roof.
An operator uses a Skid Lift Tool to lift a pair of paint
skids, weighing approximately 300 pounds, off a conveyor line and places them
on a cart that returns them to the vehicle body shop.
